Games/Defuse Protocol
One of you sees the bomb. The rest of you have the manual.
One player is the defuser and sees the device: a keypad, some wires, a dial, a button, a light sequence. Everyone else holds a different page of the defusal manual and never sees the device.
The defuser describes what's in front of them, the team finds the right rule, and the defuser acts on it. Three wrong moves and it goes off. The defuser changes every round, so everyone gets a turn under pressure.
How it plays
From link to leaderboard.
Three rounds
A new defuser each round, with more modules and a tighter clock by the last one.
Describe it
Plain shapes and colours anyone can name out loud: "the moon", "the red wire".
Find the rule
Each manual page covers different modules, so whoever has the right page has to speak up.
Three strikes
A wrong cut or a wrong press is a strike. Three and the round is over.
Who sees what
Different screen, same call.
Everyone plays on their own laptop and sees something nobody else does. That’s the whole trick: the only way through is to talk.
- Defuser
- The device and the clock. No rules, no answers.
- Everyone else
- One page each of the manual. Never the device.
